This is an advanced, practical workshop designed for organisations who already bid – but want to win more, score higher, and be more confident that their submissions stand up under evaluation.

It is aimed at experienced bid managers, technical contributors and reviewers who want to move beyond “getting compliant” and focus on writing, structuring and reviewing bids to a scoring standard.

This is not a beginner session and does not cover tendering basics.

Storyboarding responses before you start writing

Structuring responses so evaluators can easily award marks

Features, benefits and evidence

Turning technical features into clear client benefits
Writing claims that are credible, evidenced and relevant
Using case studies, examples and data effectively – without padding

Writing within constraints

Meeting strict word and character limits without losing impact
Editing techniques to strengthen answers rather than just cut content
Common mistakes that weaken scores even when the content is strong

Bid libraries and reusable content

What should (and should not) sit in a bid library
Structuring content so it can be reused without becoming generic
Keeping libraries live, relevant and aligned to scoring criteria

Reviewing for quality and score

How to review like an evaluator, not an author
Practical review structures and checklists
Giving clear, constructive feedback that improves answers – fast

Using AI properly

Where AI genuinely adds value (and where it doesn’t)
Using AI to analyse specifications, extract requirements and test alignment
Drafting support that still sounds like you and is rooted in real evidence
